Chapter 1: Using the Drawing Tools
This chapter introduces the VectorWorks screen and palettes. It covers the use of basic tools such as line, rectangle, arc and oval tools along with object attributes such as fill and line attributes to produce simple designs such as:

Demonstrates how to add text to designs, how to format the text and how to alter its colour and background to produce a design like:

Chapter 3: Using Grids and Scales
Demonstrates how to set a scale for a design, how to set a grid and snaps to that grid, rotate grids, grouping objects, copying objects, etc. to produce a design such as:

Chapter 4: The Wall Tool and Floorplans
Demonstrates how to use the wall tool to create floorplan designs. Other tools used include the Chamfer tools, converting polygons to walls and adding text to produce a floorplan similar to:

Demonstrates how to create and edit library symbols,
and how to use VectorWorks' predrawn library symbols.
