Learning Microsoft Access 2007
by Greg Bowden (462 pages)

The tutorials have been developed for Microsoft Access 2007 on the Windows system as single or multi-user versions. The multi-user version has assignments at the end of each chapter and a detailed project at the end of Module 1 so that students can practice the skills that they have learned from that chapter or module. The tutorials can printed, used on screen next to the software package or used on an iPad or similar device.

Module 1: Introduces the Access basics including starting a database, finding and sorting data, the use of tables, queries, forms and reports, then linking these together through the use of switchboard forms.

Module 2: Introduces advanced Access functions including the use of macros, switchboards, reports with totals and sub-totals, creating relationships between tables, the use of sub-forms, building an invoice system, reporting sales data from an invoice system, using form tabs and creating find duplicates queries.
